Production of Poster
Below is a video I put together of the main stages during the creation of my poster. Please click the video below to watch the process of the manipulation.

The original photo (to the left) was very thin and therefore I had to change the resolution of the image by increasing the width of the canvas and increasing the size of the image itself. I then as you can see added a 'ghostly' effect by making the character have a blurry glow to her to give the effect that she is ignored by society. To create this effect I masked a white layer around her and added an effect called 'motion blur' to distort the layer - finally I lowered the opacity so it gives the 'ghost effect'.

Firstly I duplicated the image of her further into the distance in order to give the effect that time is passing and that she is lonely. I lowered the opacity of the duplicated character in order to make the audience feel as though she isn't always there and is often rejected.
I then created a normal text layer 'BEACON' and used a stock image from the internet of the sky and then merged the sky ontop of the text in order to give the text some texture (the same with the 'two door cinema club' but instead I used a leaf texture). Finally I added a drop shadow around the text to make them stand out as I am trying to sell the album.

Pnultimately I used the logo's of popular companies that sell/ display Two Door Cinema Club's music in order to remind the audience that the music is easily accessible to listen to.
Finally I added a colour correction over the whole poster in order to make it look more asthetically pleasing. I increased the contrast and used an effect called 'Photo Filter' and made it a blue tint so that the image looks 'colder'.
